** GENERAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS **

 

How old do I have to be to attend Hawaii Bacon & Beer Fest?

All attendees must be 21 or over to attend Hawaii Beer Fest.

 

What are the hours for the event?

5:00pm – 6:00pm: VIP Early Entry

6:00pm – 9:00pm: General Admission Entry

 

When is the last pour?

Last pour is ten minutes before the event ends, at 8:50pm.

 

How many beer samples are included with the ticket price?

You will have unlimited beer samplings during the course of the event, last pour is at 8:50pm sharp.

 

What am I allowed to bring inside the event?

You are allowed to bring in mats and towels to use to sit on some vacant areas.

You may bring in pretzel lei’s.

 

What am I NOT allowed to bring inside the event?

No chairs, no outside food and drink, no coolers,  no professional photography without permission (email us at info@hawaiibeerfest.com for permission prior to the event).  NO SMOKING AND VAPING at all.  Entrants will be searched , and smoking or vaping devices will have to be discarded, or left outside of the venue. There will only be smoking in a designated smoking area outside of the event.  There is re-entry for this event.

 

Is food included with the ticket price?

Food is not included in the ticket price, but there will be food booths specializing in at least one bacon themed food item, with food for sale.

 

Where is parking for the event?

We highly recommend everyone to have a designated driver or catch a taxi/Uber/Lyft.  For parking, there will $15 self parking available. 

 

Are there any Uber discount codes for the event?

We are working on discount codes at the moment.  We will announce it on our website or on our instagram page @hawaiibeerfest.

 

Are children or pets allowed?

Unfortunately, no children or pets are allowed.  All attendees have to be 21 or over.  Pets are not allowed.  Service dogs are allowed with leash only.  Service dogs not on a leash will not be allowed.

 

What is the cancellation policy of this event?

No refunds or exchanges for any ticket purchases.  This event will happen rain or shine.  If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, you will be notified by email.  If an event is cancelled you will receive a full refund.  If an event is rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event, or you may receive a full refund if that date is not available for you.  For rescheduled events, you must request your refund prior to the original date of the event.

 

What are acceptable forms of identification?

Drivers License, state issued ID, and passports are all valid forms of identification.

 

Who does this event benefit?

A portion of all ticket sales will go to Rotary Club of Honolulu.

I have not received my emailed ticket after my purchase, what should I do?

Email us at info@hawaiibeerfest.com for further assistance.

 

Are promotional codes available?

Sometimes a variety of codes are posted using social media, emails blasts, or digital ads.  Codes cannot be used for an already existing purchase or retroactively.

 

I have already purchased my ticket, can I apply a discount code?

All discount codes must be entered during the purchase of the ticket, and cannot be applied to past purchases.

 

I canโ€™t find my ticket, can I get in using just my ID?

No, you need your printed or mobile ticket to get in.

 

Where can I buy tickets?

Do prices increase?

Yes, prices increase as time gets closer to the event.

 

** BEERS **

I saw a brewery on your website, but it was not at the festival.  What happened?

Sometimes emergencies, weather issues, or inventory issues cause a brewery to not be able to fulfill their agreement.  Various other reasons may also exist.

 

When will the complete beer list be released?

Complete beer list is usually released 1 month before the event, but the beer list does get updated as it gets closer to the event.

 

Where can I buy the beers that I tried at Hawaii Beer Fest?

Check the brewerโ€™s website.

 

How can I include my favorite brewery in Hawaii Beer Fest?

We are open to all breweries to participate in our event.  Email us at info@hawaiibeerfest.com with more information about your breweries and beers.  No fee to participate.

 

I own a brewery and would like to get involved with Hawaii Beer Fest.

There is no fee to participate in Hawaii Beer Fest as a beer vendor.  Email us at info@hawaiibeerfest.com for more info.

 

** VENDORS/SPONSORS **

Our company would like to be a part of your event, and have more than just a booth.  Do you have sponsorship opportunities available?

What is included as a vendor?

Vendors must be self sufficient.  Other items are available on request, but need to be paid for by the vendor.  For more info to become a vendor email us at info@hawaiibeerfest.com.

 

What is the maximum number of vendors you accept?

This is on a case by case basis, depending on attendance and venue size.
